Walking down the red carpet at the 95th Academy Awards ceremony, Vanessa Hudgens showed off the diamond engagement ring on her fourth left finger. The actress came to the event without her MLB star fiance, Cole Tucker, who was busy in spring training. 

TMZ was the first to confirm the couple’s engagement at the end of 2022, following the couple’s public announcement on Instagram. 

Hudgens and Tucker first met in Nov. 2020 in a Zoom meditation group. The two have actively updated fans of their relationship through social media, sharing glimpses of them on vacation together and even celebrating their first anniversary on Instagram last year on Dec. 29. 

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight from April 2021, Hudgens revealed that she believes the relationship between the couple worked out because they both made sure to always prioritize staying grateful and not taking each other for granted. 

“I am really happy for Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker,” Anna Piscioneri (11), fan of Vanessa Hudgens, said. “I feel like they both appreciate and care about each other a lot. I am glad that they finally tied the knot once and for all.”
