On Sept. 7, the SIS faculty invited SIS parents to visit campus at 5:30 p.m. for the 2023-’24 Parent Open House.
SIS sent an email to parents prior to Open House, where it outlined the basics of the event and described how to access students’ schedules and room numbers through PowerSchool.
“Coming off a summer where SIS was named the top co-ed international school in the world outside of North America and the UK, we look forward to sharing with you what specifically we do and what that looks like for your child’s education,” SIS wrote in the email.
Refreshments were given at the 2nd floor from 5:30 p.m. while the actual event started at 6:00 p.m. and ended at 8:00 p.m. The meetings went over each of the eight classes on students’ schedules and would give an overview on what the students would learn in class. Meetings in the classes lasted 10 minutes each with 5 minute breaks after each class.
