SIS athletes and coaches came together on May 19 for the All-Sports Ceremony, an annual celebration recognizing their dedication across fall, winter, and spring seasons. Unlike the smaller end-of-season ceremonies held in the atrium for individual teams, this event united the entire athletic program in a single celebration.
“This ceremony creates a unique opportunity for student-athletes themselves to share their experiences, rather than the coaches,” Brandon Fraseur, head sports coordinator, said. “It is also the one time where the entire community of student-athletes and teams get to come together and celebrate with everybody.”
The event began with an energetic highlight video created by the Tiger Sports Council, prompting attendees to reflect on the 2025 athletic year. Team captains then took the stage, delivering speeches that ranged from heartfelt expressions of gratitude to humorous anecdotes.
The ceremony also featured prestigious honors recognizing outstanding student-athletes: the KAIAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Tiger Varsity Three-Sport Athlete recognition, SIS Athletics Hall of Fame inductions, Unsung Hero Awards, Coach of the Year, and Male and Female Athletes of the Year. While these awards were continuations from the past years, this year introduced one notable addition.
“A change for this year’s ceremony is that the Super Seven Club was newly introduced,” Brandon Fraseur, head sports coordinator, said. “This award recognizes seniors who participated in all three sports seasons, highlighting their extraordinary commitment to SIS athletics.”
In the end, the ceremony concluded with a lively banquet and social gathering on the green top, where athletes from diverse sports shared pizza, chicken, and conversation, uniting athletes from different sports as members of one cohesive athletic program.
