Dear reader,
It was a tattered Coffee-Bean receipt abandoned on a Monday,
how the flier, painted in the familiar hues of uncaring footsteps, gently rode the Thursday breeze.
It was the way a Saturday sun shied away to hide behind its cloud,
the whispered melody of the car’s soft hum, for when Tuesday drives got too long and lonely.
It’s in the way we go about life, unnoticing, ignoring, disregarding;
tossing the most animate aside, erasing the life out of them to make room for “more”.
So if you will, listen in—
I’ve tried to capture and collect a little bit of the yesterday we left behind.
Welcome to Yesterdays with Yeena.
