South Korean actress, Han So Hee, has been embroiled in controversy after videos of her behavior at a Boucheron party during Paris Fashion Week went viral. Han ended her social media hiatus on Mar. 9, sharing her first personal post on Instagram since the event.

“I noticed that she kept a low profile on social media for a while after the incident,” Sophia Lim (11), Han So Hee fan, said. “So I was surprised to see that she posted when I went on Instagram.”

Alongside her selfie, Han So Hee added a gloomy emoji in the caption, hinting at her emotions amid the ongoing scrutiny. Additionally, she shared several other images, including a handwritten response to a survey question about her current interests.

Han So Hee has been criticised for yelling “Please be quiet!” at another guest present at the party. This video circulated on all popular social media platforms such as TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram, garnering lots of attention and hate. 

“I have been seeing so many videos of her behavior on TikTok,” Grace Choi (11), TikTok user, said. “In the comments, most Korean netizens have been voicing disappointment towards her attitude. Some even say that she let the fame get to her—but I am unsure of the extent to which this is true.”

Many claim that she may have just been drunk, while others assert that she was being deliberately rude. Her agency, 9ato Entertainment, addressed the situation, providing a statement to clarify the context of the incident that sparked controversy.
